We’re Hiring!

Bilingual, Hybrid, Psychotherapist - Doral/Miami (Spanish Required)

Hybrid | Miami / Doral, FL

About the Role

Hello from Herr-Era Mental Health! We're a rapidly growing mental health therapy practice in the Doral neighborhood of Miami looking for a motivated, bilingual clinician to join our team. This is a hybrid role combining telehealth sessions with in-person sessions at our Doral office. You’ll have the chance to make your own schedule, and we’ll help provide you with a full caseload of about 25-30 clients, individual and group supervision, and endless support and encouragement!

About the Company

At Herr-Era Mental Health, we’re a psychodynamically-based mental health clinic who works with individuals, couples, families, and groups ages 10 - 50. We primarily serve teens, college students, and young adults looking to build better habits, establish boundaries and healthy relationships, and secure a stronger self-esteem.

We strive to reduce barriers to mental health services, promote resilience, and strengthen communities by delivering high quality care with integrity, collaboration, and professionalism. Our team is dedicated to continuous learning, ethical practice, and fostering a workplace culture that supports both client care and clinician well-being.

By joining our organization, you are becoming part of this loving group of dedicated professionals who are committed to supporting the healing and growth of the beautiful individuals and families we serve.

What You'll Do

  • Administer individual, family, couples, and group therapy sessions in both English and Spanish (in person and via telehealth)

  • Complete timely, compliant, and ethical clinical documentation (intakes, treatment plans, progress notes) within 48 hours of sessions

  • Participate in supervision and case consultation meetings

  • Contribute to public health initiatives like community outreach activities, speaking events, social media engagements, and blog posts

  • Collaborate with a diverse team of clinicians and Care Coordinators to deliver excellent service and the highest quality patient care

Requirements

Our position is open to licensed or pre-licensed individuals. To be eligible for an interview, you must be either:

  • Actively registered in a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program, seeking practicum or internship hours

  • A Registered Intern in the State of Florida, with a pre-license that is in good standing (or license-eligible and actively pursuing registration)

  • A fully licensed mental health clinician in Florida, with an active license that is in good standing

We also require you to be:

  • Ready to challenge yourself to grow in your professional and personal skills

  • Fluent in Spanish and fully comfortable conducting complete therapy sessions in Spanish, not just conversational in Spanish

  • Legally authorized to work and provide clinical services in Florida

  • In possession of or be actively pursuing a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field

  • An organized go-getter who holds strong, ethical, organized, and timely documentation habits and is ready to grow in their clinical skills

  • A proactive self-starter who loves to work on a team, excels at independent work, and genuinely cares about the wellness of the people we serve

  • Informed, open, curious, and comfortable with serving and holding space for a diverse client population who may have views and lifestyles that are different than yours, as well as heavy stories and experiences to process

Nice to Have

We would encourage you to apply if you have:

  • Clinical experience with anxiety, depression, and trauma

  • Strong individual, group, and relational (couples + families) work skills

  • Extended training in evidence-based modalities that compliment your therapeutic style, like CBT, DBT, EMDR, Systemic work, and Psychodynamic care

  • Evening or weekend availability. Most of our appointments are held Monday - Thursday, 9 AM - 8 PM, Fridays, 9 AM - 5 PM

  • Experience working in private practice or group practice settings

What We Offer

  • We are proud to offer you a supportive team environment who is excited to help you grow as both a person and therapist. Our mission is to provide compassionate, culturally responsive, and evidence-based mental health care that supports the emotional well-being and personal growth of the individuals and families we serve. We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where clients - and practitioners -  feel heard, valued, and empowered throughout their journeys

  • Steady client referrals, so you won't be building your caseload from scratch! You can expect a caseload of about 25-30 clients for fully-licensed providers

  • We take care of billing and insurance paperwork on your behalf

  • Support every step of the way. We offer free qualified supervision toward licensure and you will be meeting with your supervisor and team frequently to discuss cases

  • Hybrid flexibility (office + telehealth) with the ability to create your own schedule

  • Competitive compensation offered per client hour, not as a percentage! We are a social-justice minded clinic who often offers reduced rates. However, regardless of how much the client pays or how much insurance reimburses, you will receive a consistent per-hour rate of payment

  • A happy, supportive, and growth-minded team and workplace culture that believes in your wellness - as well as the wellness of those we serve.
