Hi! I’m Maria!
(she/her)
As someone who moved to this country at a young age, I know firsthand what it’s like to go through transitions where you don’t always feel like you belong.
I know firsthand what it’s like to go through transitions where you don’t always feel like you belong. Those experiences have shaped who I am and the way I connect with others.
Outside of therapy, I love dancing, trying new restaurants, spending time with my dogs, and being with the people I love. I’m always open to new hobbies, new adventures, and new ways of creating memories and experiences.
I’m currently an intern therapist completing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University, after earning my undergraduate degree in Psychology.
In the therapy room, I bring warmth, curiosity, and openness to people from all walks of life.
l enjoy supporting clients through life transitions, stress, relationships, and those moments where you feel “in between” identities or places.
I also offer therapy in Spanish, so clients can express themselves in the language that feels most natural to them.
