How Do I Know If Therapy Is Right For Me?
I’m not going to sugarcoat it: young adulthood is probably the most overhyped time in your life. You’re half-way feeling like you’re finally an adult and also half-way feeling like you’re just a kid.
And now you’ve been thrust into this mad world of adult responsibilities... so now what?
Well, you don’t need to do this alone! At Herr-Era, we’re here to navigate this landslide of changes with you. Whether you’re figuring out your career, navigating relationships, or wondering why you’ve never had a stronger urge to move to Mars - we get it. Let’s talk about it together!
How Does Therapy Help Young Adults Who Are Struggling?
At Herr-Era, we use evidence-based approaches like Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to create a treatment plan for you.
It’s our honor and great responsibility to sit with you and help get to the bottom of what’s happening, helping you implement healthier coping skills, healthier communication, and new perspectives.
Can My Parent Or Partner Be Involved In Therapy?
At Herr-Era, therapy for young adults is individual and confidential between you and your clinician. However, we’re also proud to serve as the bridge between you and your loved ones; we’re here to help advocate for your unity and healthy communication. Therapy works best in a team! You may be able to bring in your loved ones, should it be relevant to your work with us. We’ll lovingly work to collaborate on what your joint goals are and get you back on the same page!
